Since making the decision to pursue an artistic career Grace Witherell has focused her efforts on exploring different mediums. Pencils, inks, acrylics, watercolor, linocut and printmaking are her predominant fields of interest.

Growing up she developed a strong love for comics and cartoons, and would spend hours doodling imaginary characters inspired by the Power Puff Girls during after-school daycare. Now as an adult she continues to draw much of her influence from cartoons and illustration. Her original work is strongly inspired by different views on femininity and the growth of her own feminist ideology.

Grace works as a lifeguard and freelance illustrator in Tacoma Washington and spends her days drawing ladies and eating sandwiches from the deli next door. One day Grace hopes to publish her own original comic book series.
